Annette Anderson

Annette Anderson joined Reading Power as an Assistant Site Coordinator in 2023. While raising her children, she volunteered at Kildeer Countryside Elementary and became PTO VP/Secretary dealing with fundraising events and committee assignments.  She involved herself in social emotional committees and the rollout of standards-based reporting at Woodlawn Middle School.  Annette worked with the Stevenson Foundation to bring programs and speakers that relate to parenting topics and current events.  As her children have grown, she volunteered at Max Schewitz Heart Smart Foundation and became an inclusion aid for a child with special needs. Annette is looking forward to working with Reading Power students instilling a love for reading and helping to make a difference in their lives.
