Debra Pucé, MS

Debra joined Reading Power in 2022, serving as its first Director of Development, working to develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet annual and long-range organizational goals. Reading Power’s mission to foster literacy in young students resonates strongly for her with her lifelong love of reading and this opportunity to make a positive impact. Previously, in her role as Director of Development at the Ragdale Foundation in Lake Forest, Debra successfully diversified funding by building a strong individual giving program, cultivating and stewarding major donors, and leading capital projects, raising the profile of the organization. Debra also served as Director of Major Gifts and Planned Giving at Writers Theatre in Glencoe, Il, for four years during its pivotal $33M capital campaign to build a new theatre center. She holds a BA in English literature, an MS in marketing, and is a Kellogg Executive Scholar in nonprofit management.
