Betsy is a Certified Public Accountant and healthcare executive with a robust background in audit, tax, financial management/accounting, and outpatient healthcare operations. She gained deep expertise in financial reporting, business operations, and compliance at American Express Tax & Business Services and Steinberg Advisors, working closely with small to mid-sized businesses and non-profit organizations. This background, combined with a strong entrepreneurial spirit led her to a healthcare administration role with neurosurgery, occupational health and acute care, and medical aesthetics practices, streamlining operations and aligning strategy and financial outcomes to build a better patient and provider experience.
Growing up in a family of educators, Betsy developed a lifelong passion for reading and recognizes the life altering power of early intervention in literacy. She brings a unique combination of financial and operational acumen and a true commitment to educational initiatives. She lives in Libertyville with her husband, two teen boys, and the world’s calmest labradoodle.
